This policy applies to the registration fee paid by nominees after their profile has been selected for a Scientific Laurels Award. Submitting a nomination and the selection process are free, so no refund question arises before selection.
1. Cancellation by the Nominee
1.1 Within 5 Days of Payment: If you cancel in writing within 5 days of paying the registration fee, you are eligible for a 50% refund of the fee paid.
1.2 After 5 Days: Cancellations received more than 5 days after payment are not eligible for a refund.
1.3 After Dispatch: Once the award memento or certificate has been dispatched by courier, the registration fee is non-refundable.
2. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
2.1 If you are charged more than once for the same registration, or pay an incorrect amount by mistake, the extra amount will be refunded in full once verified.
3. How to Request a Refund
3.1 Email admin@scientificlaurels.in with your name, the award title, and the payment transaction ID.
4. Refund Process
4.1 Processing Time: Approved refunds are initiated within 4 working days. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take a further 5–7 working days for the amount to appear in your account.
4.2 Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the registration fee.
